Goals

Spread awareness on misunderstood dog breeds including German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Boxer, Mastiff, Cane Corso, American Pitbull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, Husky, and Belgian Malinois. 

Rescue dogs who are at risk of being euthanized from high kill shelters, with a focus on, but not limited to, the previously mentioned dogs. 

Rescue cats who are at risk of being euthanized from high kill shelters. 

Place rescued dogs and cats into foster homes until a forever home is found for them.

Place the rescued dogs and cats into forever homes that meet the expectations of the Board of Directors and that view animals in the same light as Pawsitivity Rescue.

Create different programs through the animal rescue that work towards eliminating stereotypes against specific dog breeds. 

Aim to stop the cycle of animal abuse and neglect through education and awareness. 

Aim to help Los Angeles shelters work towards all shelters becoming “No Kill”. 

Aim to decrease the amount of animals that are euthanized in animal shelters through rescuing as many animals as possible.
